In this project, Shy Souls, the author testifies his own quest for the silent, imaginary world inside every human being, spawned by mysterious sources dwelling every soul. A bitter fruit that man has been collecting since the first industrial revolution.
Modernism left men and women trying to break free from the new cages they were put in, every time Technique has tried to shape Humanity. Nowadays - almost a century later - the author chose photography as his best medium because of its inherent speed and uncanny ability in reproducing the (apparent) world we live in: these photos are evidence of his slow-paced, incessant search for the light necessary to break one's own shackles, constantly casting the shadows of their grim lives and devoid of Beauty.
